The Research and Collaboration Committee is a part of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) JMC. The importance of research for an institute of higher education can not be overemphasised. The committe organises Conferences, Workshops and Faculty Development programmes with the objective of encouraging research activities among the faculty and students of JMC. It is also the nodal agency for developing academic collaborations between JMC and other Institutes of Higher Education both Indian and Foreign. We have signed MoUs for Students and Faculty Exchange as well as academic cooperation with the following:
- Indian Studies Center, Chiang Mai University, Thailand
- Dimitrie Cantamir Christian University, Bucharest, Romania
- North China University of Technology, Beijing, China.
Arrangement have been made for Fee Concession for Summer Courses with:

- Oriel College, University of Oxford, UK
MoU signed with:
- Track Invest for students to learn investing in real stock markets with virtual money
- The Center for Global Data Visualization powered by QED for learning Data Visualisation and participating in international Hackathon Competition
