EOC members audio recorded several readings for students with visual impairment of Jesus and Mary College as per her requirements. The process was carried out in consultation with the student. The recordings were done in a systematic manner with each recording mentioning the recording number and necessary details of the reading. This process was carried out throughout the academic year.
In the annual cultural festival of our college-Montage’19, EOC organised ‘Prayas 2019’-an annual inter-college competition for students with disability. Three competitions were organised: Painting, Vocal and Instrument playing competitions.
EOC organised its annual meet ‘Unnati 2019’ on March 27, 2019. Mr. Gulfam Ahmed was the keynote speaker for the event. He is a National Para Athlete who has won 26 medals and also holds the title of Mr. Wheelchair India, 2015. Our special guest for the occasion was Ms. Kajal Mishra, an alumnus of Jesus and Mary College and former President of EOC. The event concluded with a performance by Asmita theatre: 'Naina ki Kahani', depicting the life journey of Arunima Sinha, the first female amputee to scale Mount Everest.
