The JMC Review is a double-blind peer-reviewed interdisciplinary e-journal published annually since 2017 when it was founded by Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. As a journal of criticism, practice and theory dedicated to the Humanities and the Social Sciences, it provides a forum for lively scholarly debates, research and exegeses that push the boundaries of our understanding on a range of past, present and emergent concerns. The journal features occasional commissioned interviews with leading intellectuals and includes a Book Reviews section carrying substantive reviews of important works in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
Since its inception, 8 well-received volumes of the journal have been published. These volumes showcase the works of both young as well as established scholars on a wide variety of subjects. The JMC Review seeks to continue to bring out carefully curated journal issues that contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge across multiple disciplines.
We hope that in times to come, The JMC Review will serve as a vital hub for scholarship that is widely recognised as a necessary reference tool for scholars, especially in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
