Founded in 2015, Panorama, the film-making and film appreciation society of Jesus and Mary College is one of the youngest societies. The society aims at creating a fun and nurturing space for students who are film enthusiasts, be it film-making or appreciating films. Panorama brings together these like-minded people and engages them in fun workshops, short film-making, in which a person can get involved in shooting, directing, acting or scriptwriting. We have our own online blog, with a reach of over 2000+, for which our members write reviews and film-related articles regularly. Our events include film-making and content writing workshops/competitions and our most successful event includes our annual fest which has a footfall of 750+.
We are 49 members strong today which includes our faculty members: Dr. Sneh Kapoor, Ms. Sumangali R., Ms. Shirley Joseph, Ms. Anamika Asthana and our convener, Dr Sandhya D Nambiar.
