Department of Mathematics

JMC established its department of mathematics in 1987. The department has remained a landmark of excellence ever since. With the best and most dedicated faculty the department caters to the needs of around 200 students annually. A combination of classroom sessions, paper presentations and interactive sessions are held to help students get an understanding the importance and application of mathematics in everyday life.

The course focuses on helping students to become intellectually sound, disciplined and more focused. The course also grooms them to become more effective in the careers they opt for, be it teaching, research, finance, investment banking, etc.

MATHARENA a department festival is held every year and is a huge success as students from all Colleges in the university participate.
